"Ionization" is a working-in-progress 3D first–person action game. The main idea originated in 2011,
being inspired by the Half-Life series, the modification "Paranoia" and other creations of the BuZZeR level designer. The project is based on the FWGS engine in conjunction with PrimeXT SDK. The demo version is now freely available, it is an opening part of the storyline, which takes about 15 minutes to complete. This build performs an introductory function and it does not reflect the final quality of the project.

According to the game plot, you have to enter the role of a special service agent, repel the attack of unknown forces and protect humanity from a deadly threat.
The planned release date is 2025.

Hello everyone!
I apologize for the long silence. Unforeseen circumstances arose that seriously affected my plans. Fortunately, the Ionization itself is fine, but my hard drive with important personal information failed, including an archive of references, development tools, and most frustratingly, a photo archive - hundreds of images of buildings from Soviet brutalism and modernism, such as ordinary apartment buildings and real architectural monuments like the Delta Research Facility in Moscow, which is currently being demolished. Most of these photos were already processed for textures and were going to be used for creating Ionization locations and HD models for separate distribution. However, these plans have gone awry.
Experts have diagnosed the hard drive, and data recovery in a laboratory will cost significant money, no one can guarantee the complete safety of the files. This situation has greatly upset me, and I am now trying to find an appropriate solution to this issue that will not significantly affect my finances, given the need to purchase new reliable storage media.
At the same time, in February, I worked extensively on integrating the literary plot into the gameplay and cutscenes, including key elements of the lore and the main character's post-traumatic flashbacks. I strived for maximum authenticity, using real footage with VHS artifacts, which should appeal to fans of the current film style of the 1990s. In addition, what is shown in the videos also has a historical basis in events in Eastern Europe and the former USSR.
Work has also continued on improving the locations you have already seen in the introductory version of the game, added new features and explanatory hints, applied new light compilation options. I'm posting these screenshots to show you that the work hasn't stopped, and I'm determined to bring this game to completion, even if it takes longer.

Hi there KPE030T, this is ToxicHolyGrenade/Andrew Matchett. Since it has been years since the release of the first PARANOIA, I was wondering if you will be able to give me all the prototype versions of the first PARANOIA (e.g the 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, to early 2007 builds)? At least if you still have them around perhaps. In addition, to also see if you still have the models, sounds, music, etc of the said prototypes, like sounds and models.
In terms of the prototype versions, not just because there could be people who would be more interested and in them, but there could also be those, that research and document what has been changed and what was cut, even with the likes of game prototype wiki sites.
A good example of such a site is called The Cutting Room Floor wiki, which records and researches cut content of games, as well as their prototype versions. And there could also be people who have an affinity for archiving and preserving works and history like myself, and a good example is the Internet Archive site.

Вчера прошёл на стриме. Приятная атмосфера, просторные, хорошие локации. Из Макара без берушей не стрелять)). Бросается в глаза разнобой по текселям и степени проработки моделей, потенциал в доработке карт Specular / Roughness в некоторых местах (понимаю, что скорее всего собиралось из наработок разных лет), но демо есть демо, претензий никаких, просто подмечаю контраст. Общий дух и сюжет действительно напоминает Paranoia. Жду дальше (как ждал до этого 12 лет), спасибо что не забросил проект.
