Apostles (2022)

Written and directed by acclaimed Hong Kong filmmaker Scud, the film Apostles (2022) takes a philosophical look at what it means to be human. Godfather Antonio (Jackie Chow) is a philosopher who feels that his time on earth is drawing to a close and he wants to assemble a group of 12 apostles to accompany him to his secluded manor on Mt. Fuji to explore the philosophical implications of death. Together, these 13 people are going to experience every human joy and tragedy there, though none of them have the foggiest idea of what their leader's ultimate plan is... otherwise, they probably wouldn't have come in the first place! The film is a hedonistic wonderland with lots of bare flesh from the cast, including a fantastic full frontal scene from leading man Jackie Chow over the opening credits! We'll be his apostle any day of the week!
