Dance With the Devil (1997) or Perdita Durango as it's known outside of the USA, was the first-time English-speaking audiences got to meet future Oscar winner Javier Bardem. And what a wild introduction it was! Based on the third book in Barry Gifford's "Sailor and Lulu" series (the first book in the series inspired Wild at Heart (1990) the film stars Rosie Perez as tough gal Perdita Durango, a sexy sociopath who hooks up with Satanist bank robber and con man Romeo Dolorosa (Javier Bardem) for a job smuggling human fetuses over the Mexican border. Fun fact: in Wild at Heart, it was Isabella Rosselini who played that same character. The plan is to get the embryos to Las Vegas so they can be turned into a fancy moisturizer, but since Romeo is a criminal who owes all sorts of people money, it's not a huge surprise he keeps getting sidetracked by revenge seekers and DEA agents like Woody Dumas (James Gandolfini). But the main thing that's killing their progress is Perdita, who insists they kidnap a white couple (Aimee Graham and Harley Cross) to turn into human sacrifices. With those gringos in tow, the whole gang eventually make their way to Vegas, only to find that the whole thing was a setup, and someone hired a hitman (Javier's brother Carlos Bardem) to take him out. A wild flick many have compared to Natural Born Killers (1994), you'll be boogying with Beelzebub when Javier bares his Bardem in a rousing assault scene with Aimee Graham. On top of that there's a look at Javier in just a tiny pair of skivvies trying to summon the devil, then a quick flash of ass as he's giving Rosie his prick under a cactus, and a great look at Javier's heinie when he nearly busts her bed in half as he busts a load inside her! That's the hottest we've ever seen Javier Bardem, bar none! Grab the tissues and some non-baby embryo-based lotion, because Dance with the Devil will have you spilling semen like a demon!
