Dead Ringers (1988)

Jeremy Irons plays twin gynecologists who find themselves competing over a woman in David Cronenberg’s trippy, challenging Dead Ringers (1988)

Irons plays both brothers who seem to have idyllic lives and good careers. The movie is all about sex and explores the strange sex lives of twins, but shows very little nudity in doing so. One brother is more confident than the other and has no trouble seducing women. He uses them for his needs then passes them off to his shy brother who gets the leftovers and the women are never the wiser. One day when the shy brother meets and falls for a beautiful woman the role reversal sends their lives into a tail spin. Irons is on the screen in nearly every scene and we do get to see him shirtless a few times. There is also an intense scene where he ties a woman to a bed and takes her from behind. He flashes a little crackage for our viewing pleasure while he hammers her like a carpenter hanging sheetrock.

Dead Ringers is more of a cerebral experience than a visual one. There is not a lot of actual nudity, but if you let it into your head it will dance around naked and give you some serious mental stimulus.
