The Walk (2015) tells the real-life story of Philippe Petit, a Parisian high-wire artist who crossed between the World Trade Centers eight times in 1974. Eight. The story begins with Joseph Gordon Levitt as Philippe back in Paris, where he sees a photo of the Trade Centers and decides in that moment that he must cross them. With the help of his fellow street performer girlfriend Annie, they start forming a team to help him pull off this crazy stunt, including a photographer, a rope expert, and an advisor named Papa Rudy. After impaling his foot while spying on the construction crew, finding a secure wire long enough for the walk, and running around ass naked on the roof during the set up, Philippe successfully pulls off the stunt and is arrested—but all the charges are dropped soon after because the whole ordeal was so awesome. The death-defying walk between the Towers might be the theme of the movie, but it's Joseph Gordon Levitt's bare butt that gets our pulse racing!
