The key focus of ONVIF is true interoperability and provides membership benefits for manufacturers as well as end users, integrators, and specifiers. ONVIF is a non-profit organization that is open to all companies and interest groups who would like to participate in the global standardization of interfaces for IP-based physical security products. ONVIF is already supported by the majority of the largest manufacturers of network video products, video management software companies, and integrators. Today the organization’s member base collectively offers thousands of ONVIF conformant products in all parts of the world.
