Howard Stern to Welcome Green Day for a Live Performance on The Howard Stern Show Exclusively on Howard 100 on SiriusXM

Though I haven’t been a part of any of these exclusive Howard 100 tapings (not that I don’t want too of course hint hint hint), I love sharing that they are happening with our readers because they are pretty damned awesome. Check this latest news out about the band Green Day.

NEW YORK – October 4, 2016 – Howard Stern and SiriusXM announced today that Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and Grammy Award-winning rock band Green Day will perform live on The Howard Stern Show on Howard Stern’s exclusive SiriusXM channel Howard 100 on Wednesday, October 5. The in-studio performance will feature Green Day performing songs from their 30-year career, including music from their upcoming album Revolution Radio, scheduled to be released on October 7 on Reprise Records.

The band will also record a special edition of SiriusXM’s “Town Hall” series—answering questions from a select group of SiriusXM listeners in the SiriusXM studios in New York City. The “Town Hall” special will air Friday, October 7 at 7:00 pm ET and PT on SiriusXM’s Faction, channel 41, and through the SiriusXM app on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com.
Additionally, the band’s concert at the House of Blues in Boston, recorded live on October 1, will air on SiriusXM’s Faction and Alt Nation channels immediately after the Town Hall broadcast on Friday, October 7. “SiriusXM’s Town Hall with Green Day” is part of SiriusXM’s “Town Hall” series, featuring iconic entertainers and figures sitting down with studio audiences of SiriusXM listeners. Previous SiriusXM “Town Hall” specials have featured Bruce Springsteen, Billy Crystal, Barbra Streisand, Quentin Tarantino, Carol Burnett, Tom Petty, Willie Nelson, KISS, Coldplay, Ringo Starr, Adele, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Hugh Jackman, Cardinal Timothy Dolan, Roger Waters, the surviving members of Nirvana, Gregg Allman, Usher and Tony Hawk.

Metallica to Perform Live on The Howard Stern Show on Stern’s Exclusive SiriusXM Channel Howard 100

Most of you NYC Metal Legions know that Metallica has already released the first taste of their upcoming album “Hardwired To Self-Destruct” and its been met with considerable approval since it is quite the kick ass track (I discussed the tune on THIS LINK for those who didn’t see my narrative). That is just what we are expecting from a legendary band of this type. Now that this has happened a whole lot of activity is popping up for the Thrash Metal icons and this one should greatly appease the fans of radio personality Howard Stern. • Mandatory Metallica to feature “Town Hall” special

NEW YORK – September 23, 2016 – Howard Stern and SiriusXM announced today that Grammy® Award-winning, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Metallica will perform live on The Howard Stern Show on Howard Stern’s exclusive SiriusXM channel Howard 100 on Monday, September 26.

The in studio performance will feature Metallica performing songs from their 30-plus year career, including music from their upcoming album Hardwired….to Self-Destruct, scheduled to be released on November 18 on the band’s Blackened Recordings.

Additionally, on Monday, September 26, the band will record a special edition of SiriusXM’s “Town Hall” series—answering questions from a select group of SiriusXM listeners in the SiriusXM studios in New York City. The “Town Hall” special, hosted by music journalist and SiriusXM host David Fricke, will air on the band’s limited-run SiriusXM channel Mandatory Metallica, launching Wednesday, November 16.
