I’m giving you the alternate instructions in case you can’t find plastic tubing! Try party supply stores and Amazon! You need 2 yards Step 1: Gather your supplies - assorted candy (I use six), plastic wrap, ribbon, scissors. (You’ll need about two yards of the thinnest ribbon and one yard of each of the accents) Step 2: Start by cutting the plastic wrap into a long strip. When we do this, the weight of the flowers causes the lei to naturally curl over our hand. This makes it easier for the lei to twist side to side, and harder for us to see the beginning of the lei. To have my lei lay flat, I like to use a flat surface like a table. I am able to see the beginning of the lei just as much as the part I am working on. This video clip shows a pretty good angle of how I like to rest my hand against the table. I don’t move it too much from this spot throughout making the entire lei.
