This is one of my favorite soap swirls! I actually introduced it to soap making community in 2012 when I introduced the peacock swirl! Both swirls are adapted from paper marbling techniques. I love looking at other art mediums and adapting them for soap making.

This soap recipe and tutorial will show you how to make this beautiful handmade, cold process Christmas soap with a gold mica swirl. For this holiday soap design, I simply wanted to do a green and red swirl….but with a little bit of something extra. I decided to add a gold mica/oil swirl on top for some added interest! I LOVE the way it came out. I used a blend of rosemary and peppermint essential oils, but you can use your favorite slow-moving fragrance or essential oil blend.
