Cultural centre architecture

Morocco is also a country of very beautiful and characteristic decorations of buildings. I thought to combine modernity with a traditional approach to city architecture in my project. He will interpret the familiar modernism in a completely different way. Hence the idea to create photovoltaic trees and with them a whole network of interconnected buildings. #Landscapedesigncompetition

The Polycab Experience Centre, situated in the bustling industrial hub of Halol, Gujarat, close to Vadodara, is a remarkable project that unites three key components: a corporate office, an Experience Centre, and an auditorium, all harmoniously coexisting under a single sustainable roof. This architectural marvel was crafted to serve the needs of one of India’s foremost cable manufacturers.

The project aims to promote cultural exchange, education, and community engagement by showcasing Islamic architecture's rich history and enhancing society's Islamic identity through artistic presentations and educational activities.

The cultural center, designed as a meeting point for the world and Marrakech, shows an example of a settlement specific to its location by playing with the slopes of the land. The center offers users the opportunity to experience the oasis in different ways.

The concept of the passive culture center is influenced by Marrakech vernacular architecture and adapts to the harsh and severe climatic conditions in this region. It adopts several environmental treatments that control thermal comfort inside the building, reduce energy use and promote sustainability.

This week, UN Studio won a competition to design a new cultural centre in Paris and OMA revealed its plans for a six-sided glass courthouse in Lille.

The World Architecture Community has enabled architects around the globe to share, collaborate and showcase their work since 2006. The renowned WA Awards competition, which showcases the projects of our community members runs three times a year.
