Emma’s Handcraft 🐻 on Instagram: "Embroider tips for making eyes on your chunky/velour amigurumi 👇🏼 I got a request of making a tutorial on embroider eyes on chenille yarn. Here’s my best tips: ✔️ Always use pins to mark where you want the eyes to be. ✔️ Always make the stitches in the same place, it makes the eye grow. Make as many stitches as you prefer until you are happy with the size. ✔️ I do 2 stitches of white on the side, otherwise it doesn’t show as much. ✔️ Make 1 white stitch over one row in the black part. ✔️ Make 1 black stitch on the side of the eye, not to far away. ✔️ Make 2 eyelashes, one row up. 18K views · 2K reactions | When you feel like your amigurumi’s eyes could be cuter, try this! 👀 First, press the tops of the eyes into the head so you can see if you like how they will look with a slight indent. Then sew a stitch above each eye (as shown in this video), pull tight (you can loosen with your yarn needle if they get too indented), and secure with a knot. This method has helped add cuteness to many of my animal’s expressions! 👍 | Amigurumi Pattern Designer | Diyans Beats · SEA - Afrobeat Instrumental My Animal, Yarn Needle, The Head, Plastic Canvas, Amigurumi Pattern, Crochet Amigurumi, Feel Like, Like You, Knot
