Brad Rodriguez on Instagram: "#Ad I partnered with @3m to fix the bad paint job the prior owners left on the baseboards. I used the ScotchBlue™ Original Painter’s Tape (2090) and ScotchBlue™ Sharp Lines Painter's Tape (2093) to prep for the job and make sure it turned out great. A little trick I like to use to keep the carpet protected is tucking a wide strip of the 2090 just under the baseboards. It holds the carpet down and gives you plenty of space to work. And the 2093 is perfect to get those crisp lines between the baseboards and the wall color. One thing a lot of people miss is to fully embed the tape with a putty knife or flat object and let the tape sit for 30 to 60 minutes before painting. This will give you the best result and a great finish.
