This a project I completed for my Typography class. The project entailed making a two-sided poster that featured a visual Biography of a famous typographer as well as visual description of the featured typographer's most popular work.

A minimal approach to traditional typography posters.

Here is a place where typography and graphic design intersect: abtract typographical art. This is the word "Atmosphere" sliced and splattered to create an interesting shape. It is not meant to be read, so much as it is meant to be looked at. This would not be appropriate if it were important to convey an idea clearly, but could be a nice added visual touch in the right context if used in the same way an illustration is used.
