This tutorial came about when I was asked about the thread I used when I made the watering can. It's crochet thread, Coats & Clark, Classic. The miniaturist wanted to weave baskets with it. Another we update and a look at the miniatures I have been making for the past few weeks. It all started when I needed a hat for Charlotte to put in her bedroom so I set about trying my hand at hats. Not an easy task as I found out, to make a Georgian bonnet, but I had a go and eventually after a few going in the bin I ended up with the pink one below. The worst part was making the small roses. I don't know why I can't get the drawing for the basket bottom to print out the right size, but the other drawing, the spokes, do. Left click on the drawing and a new page will come up, click on your file button and click print. If you have trouble, let me know.
