The necklace is handcrafted in silver topped 14K gold, featuring a pear shaped Siberian amethyst of a superb deep royal purple color. The amethyst is framed by bright white old European cut diamonds. The amethyst is approximately 13.75 carats. Estimated total diamond weight is about 3 carats. The necklace is marked with 56 zolotnik Imperial gold standard and later Soviet control mark.
