At first glance, red oak gives off a slightly rosy hue and has a more pronounced grain pattern, especially when left unstained, whereas white oak has a slightly grayish tone and a more subtle grain pattern. With the right stain color, you’ll be surprised to see the differences between the two are nearly indistinguishable. It’s important to seal them and put a high traffic protector on them, but you don’t actually have to stain to achieve a natural white oak look. I fell in love with the color of the white oak after we had them installed and started researching stains vs how to keep the raw color. So glad we did this for the light white oak color makes all the rooms feel bigger & hides scratches better than darker wood. . . . #whiteoakfloors #hardwoodfloors #diningroom #livingroomdesign #classicchristmas #newoldhome #colonialrevival #curvedstaircase #whiteoakstairs #wainscoting #allsortsof #entrywaydecor #classickitchen #cozylivingroom #hardwoodflooring #englishkitchen #kitchendesign #marblekitchen" Oak Floor Kitchen, Hardwood Floor Stain Colors, Floor Stain Colors, White Oak Hardwood Floors, Oak Stairs, Floor Stain, Raw Color, Oak Wood Floors, English Kitchens
