Step by step how I added a cushioned seat to a wooden toy chest. I was given this storage box from a friend who didn't need it and I wanted to add a soft and colourful seat for my son's room. I used a fun kid's car and bus print and made a DIY seat that is attached to the box lid. The toy box has a hinged lid that opens up and the seat goes with the lid and doesn't stop it opening properly.
