Is van life better with windows or without? Here's 7 reasons why you should not install any campervan windows into your van conversion!...

We decided early on that we’d like it as a feature. This meant building it so that it came away from the wall, in a way that looked nice! We used some spare 9mm plywood as a template, building the bottom part of the frame first. We discovered that because the van gets narrower towards the back, the back edge of the frame also has to do this, otherwise there would be a slight run.

We installed a curved sliding window above the bed in our van conversion, and we were determined to achieve a curved frame to match the window’s profile. Since we are sleeping and waking up next to the window, we are going to spend a whole lot of time looking at it, and through it! The window frame is made from 3/4″ plywood and an attractive design element as well as functional as a bedside shelf.
