It’s not too late to do this, you can even do this after you’ve planted out. Just make sure your plant has 2 or 3 sets of true leaves. And you only need to do this once. If you haven’t planted out yet, you can let it form buds in its pot, which can also help.  🌸 you can definitely plant cosmos in containers. I try and get a big pot and space about 20cm apart. It’s also a good idea to get in some support to avoid plants flopping over - I’m using some foraged twigs here.
