Jake Gyllenhaal and Jeanne Cadieu Had a Rare Night Out at the Oscars

Jake Gyllenhaal and his girlfriend, model Jeanne Cadieu, made another rare red carpet appearance at the 2022 Oscars. The couple, who've been dating for over two years, didn't walk the award ceremony's red carpet together on Sunday, but they were photographed at the Vanity Fair Oscars party later that evening in matching black outfits. The pair were recently seen enjoying a French date at the premiere for Gyllenhaal's latest movie, "Ambulance."

Gyllenhaal and Cadieu were first linked together in December 2018 when Us Weekly confirmed the two had begun dating. The couple are occasionally seen on sweet outings, including their red carpet debut last September. Though they rarely speak on their romance publicly, Gyllenhaal opened up about their relationship last month when he told Esquire about the two getting close during the pandemic.

"In a lot of ways, we're family. I'm in a relationship that is full of love and support. I feel so at ease," he told the outlet for his March cover story. "I'm not unaware that there's interest in my life. My life is wonderful. I have a relationship that is truly wonderful, and I have a family I love so much. And this whole period of time has made me realize that."

The "Ambulance" actor also teased the idea of getting married when he appeared on "The Howard Stern Show" in December, saying he just wants to be a "good husband and a father." He added: "Now that I have fulfilled a lot of things in my career that I feel comfortable with, I can safely say that. I don't know if I could have said that before." When asked if Cadieu is "the one," the actor expressed his love for her and said "she's such a good person," also sharing that marriage is "a choice for both of us."
