Travel and tourism are huge parts of the global economy, and it’s easier to see the world than it has ever been. Travel comes at a cost, of course, but Kiwi was founded to help people make their money go further. Founded as Skypicker in 2011 by Oliver Dlouhy, it became Kiwi in 2012.
It is now one of the most popular and accessible travel and tourism companies in the world. Its main appeal is the streamlined way in which it allows passengers to compare flights and journeys to find the perfect balance of budget, travel time and layovers. By offering cheaper travel options, Kiwi has been a pioneer in opening up the world to more people than ever before.
Of course, that’s not all the company offers. Below is what you can find at Kiwi.

They provide no supports unless you pay more!

Rakuten was not the problem. Kiwi is horrible and would not honor a refund we requested almost immediately after purchase. And we paid for the extra insurance - then found a deal with another site for less than half of what Kiwi was charging. Will never purchase from Kiwi again. Customer service was also horrible.

Honestly, I can't believe it was that easy. Rakuten made saving money so easy. Can't wait to do it again. 😊

I would really suggest to check the baggage fee before you buy it

Not happy with the service. The rates were right, which was nice, but within 5 minutes of booking we had our business meeting cancelled. Immediately tried to write and call Kiwi with no immediate replies back, and by the time they did they said they could cancel but only would credit back a VERY (under 5%) refund. ...

You don’t need to break the bank when you travel with Kiwi, but there are some basic things you can do to make sure you get the best price and experience.
