1999. Jeff Pilson is left bleeding from impact following George Lynch's departure from Dokken. As far as he is aware, everything between them is over. The passage of time has sided with Reb Beach, but is not enough to keep him from feeling lost and scared when faced with changing bands again -this time while out of contact with Kip Winger. When Reb finds himself joining Dokken and Jeff finds himself adapting two new styles into one to move the band forward, they both realize that their work together goes beyond writing as a guitar and bass team. Reb can't sleep and he decides to join Kip on his workdesk.

The night Reb falls off the stage after attempting the move of sliding across the floor on his knees turns into a series of events! Twisting his shoulder funny won't stop him from playing guitar, and the physical injury is nothing compared to the injury his pride takes, but it makes getting through the rest of the night after the show a challenge. Luckily, after his own experiences Kip is more than willing to help him through it, and knows how to treat both forms of hurt.

Reb has come a long way since the Winger hiatus began. Back in frequent communication with Kip, and moving on to Whitesnake, he still has past fears to conquer, but is feeling optimistic with his new bandmates, and a new leader who does his best to see that everyone is happy. There's just one thing that's off -but it's not too serious. Maybe, it's just a sign of even better times ahead.

Three years ago, Jon Bon Jovi made a quick entrance to Kip Winger's life and left it just as fast. Three years later in '89, Jon and Kip find themselves back in each other's lives with a month of traveling together ahead. The road inevitably leads them to face their past -and if this time will grant them the possibility to stay.

Looking in from the outside on a night Reb Beach and Paul Taylor hit rock bottom following the breakup of Winger while under the watch of Alice Cooper. More than ever, they know that good doesn't always come in an obvious form -and sometimes in the least expected of ways.

Moving isn't usually fun. Moving with a broken knee and while being sick during a heat wave in the summer isn't fun, period. Moving with all of those things and arriving to the underpowered window air conditioning unit having completely gone kaput upon arrival downright sucks. But it'll be alright. Somehow.
