Behind the gloss and beyond an in-form Mammootty, Bramayugam is not scary despite its promising atmospherics. It is also flimsy ... until it begins to lay out its caste politics. The film’s allegorical take on caste proves to be muddled and insensitive.

Although as the movie passes , I thought that some good spirit will be taking the dominant role at last , but to the surprise it remains very realistic in its purpose of achieving bad spirit will be ruled. Challenging cinematography because even if small boredom is seen , it would have been complete collapse and crew has refined the writings , screenplay and the confidence they had in the output is enormous and divine. Mammooty's performance and physique is very much gripping to watch. Daunting performance.

Bramayugam is an overall very good movie which is a very different experience for malayalam audience. It is clearly visible that the movie is highly inspired from the Hollywood movie Lighthouse, from which many elements are adopted here. Not only both these movies are made in monochrome, many elements go hand in hand with both these movies. The performance of the cast especially Mammootty was really outstanding. The direction, plot, making, effects, bgm etc were also impressive. Really recommended movie for everyone.
