If you didn’t know it was Colin Farrell beneath that makeup you’d never guess. Hell, you’d not guess that it was makeup. It’s a metamorphosis so complete that even after watching the entire first season I can’t wrap my brain around it.

The Penguin If you haven’t checked out The Penguin yet, do it now – this show is a game-changer! Colin Farrell is downright unrecognizable in the role of the year. Walking into this, I wasn’t sure what to expect. DC shows can be hit or miss, but The Penguin impressed me from the very start. Each character is spot-on, bringing an incredible depth to Gotham’s dark underworld. The storytelling, the atmosphere, the intensity – it kept me hooked straight through the night until 4 a.m., something I rarely do. This is hands-down the best show of 2024, and it’s one that will stick with you.
