In a dystopian Switzerland that has fallen under the fascist rule of an evil cheese tyrant, Heidi lives the pure and simple life in the Swiss Alps. Grandfather Alpöhi does his best to protect Heidi, but her yearning for freedom soon gets her into trouble with the dictator's henchmen. What I Watched Tonight

A crazy film that deserves to garner a cult following - it’s bonkers, it's big, it's brash, and it’s definitely not perfect but it is a lot of fun (and who doesn’t like seeing the fascists get their comeuppance?)

It was a dumb fun ride. The only thing I wish it used 50 gallons of blood and not 25 lol. If you like low budget movies from independent companies, then go watch this one.

Mad Heidi is absolutely bonkers. This is a crowd-funded movie which is a actually quite enjoyable. Ridiculous, gory action, with a smoking hot heroine (Alice Lucy as Heidi) and an over the top performance from Casper Van Diem (Starship Troopers) as a ruthless dictator. Don't take it too seriously and you'll probably enjoy the campiness of this crazy film.
