American doctor Jethro Forbes (Rick Jason) vacations at a beach resort in Devonshire, England, where Miss Bettyhill (Mary Merrall) tells him the tragic story of the resort's physician, Dr. Dysert (Marius Goring), whose life has been a series of unfortunate accidents; it seems his wives have a terrible habit of dying. When Jethro falls for the doctor's sickly assistant, Kitty (Lisa Gastoni), the American begins to suspect that the good doctor had an active hand in his wives' deaths.

bryan c The acting was a new level of terribad... Along with the bad guy being too bad, a doctors wife that has her mouth wide open for a whole 2 mins at the end, bad guys telling you all the bad stuff they did and placing their victims in an easily escapable situation sums up this movie.
