    INSTRUMENT MECHANICAL COMPLETION

    Apa maksud dari INSTRUMENT MECHANICAL COMPLETION:

    Merupakan suatu kumpulan dari suatu hasil Calibration Certificates, Assembly Certificates, Test Certificates, Installation Certificates dan Flushing Certificates, yang telah disetujui oleh Client, Pihak Terkait (Classification Authority, Govn, 3rd Party), dan dicompiled jadi satu sehingga menjadi suatu As Built Dossier atau umum disebut (Manufacturing Data Record MDR) sesuai dengan Sub System yang dibutuhkan. Jadi mechanical completion ini akan di handover nanti ke commissioning .

    INSTRUMENT MECHANICAL COMPLETION

    Mechanical Completion adalah multidiscipline construction, installation acceptance and non-operating test acceptance of oil & gas facility construction work.

    Definitions
    Commissioning (COMM)
    Means the testing and adjustment of an assembly or plant sections and will comprise of Operational testing under real or simulated conditions to ensure that it meets all applicable Rules, Regulations, Codes and Standards and that it fulfils its intended duty and ready for start-up.

    Commissioning Package (CP)


    Is a discrete part of the plant, which enables Commissioning to be performed in a sequential manner. These would be defined on marked-up boundary drawings e.g. P&IDs, Single Line Drawings, Block Diagrams etc.

    Definitions
    Mechanical Completion (MC)
    Means all checking, verification and testing of fabrication, construction and installation work performed by the respective contractors & sub-contractors in order to confirm that the applicable Rules, Regulations, Codes & Standards are being met and that the Project requirements as shown on the design drawings and outlined in the specifications are fulfilled. The system (i.e. CP) shall be preserved and ready for Commissioning when Mechanical Completion is completed.

    Mechanical Completion Package (MCP)


    A meaningful single discipline group of items belonging to one specific CP which will ultimately be completed and offered as a discrete scope for discipline punch-out and acceptance.

    Definitions
    Handover (HO)
    The presentation of Commissioning Packages in the form of a Handover Dossier, which comprises of a Handover Certificate, MC documentation summary report, multi-discipline punchlist, copies of relevant MACs, boundary drawings and as-built drawings. Upon acceptance of the Handover Certificate is signed and the operational responsibility for the CP is formally transferred from Contraction Group to the Commissioning Group.

    MC Dossier
    A specific dossier for each CP that comprises all MC Package filed by discipline. Such MC Packages would include MAC, Discipline Punchlist, All Inspection & Test Records, Additional Charts, Test Reports and marked-up drawings appertaining to the specific scope. In addition, a total listing of all tags, cables and isometrics should be included together with an overall index.

    INSTRUMENT MECHANICAL COMPLETION


    Mechanical Completion dijalankan dengan cara melakukan aktivitas inspeksi dan test untuk setiap individual piping test pack, tagged device dan equipment untuk tiap-tiap engineering discipline. Inspeksi dan Test tersebut direcord ke dalam MC-ITR. Kumpulan MC-ITR dari berbagai discipline yang menunjang proses tertentu dikumpulkan menjadi subsystem MC acceptance. Kumpulan dari sub-system dikumpulkan menjadi MC system acceptance. Engineering discipline yang tidak ikut secara langsung telibat dalam oil & gas processing equipment yaitu structural, painting, marking, dan coating. Discipline ini menggenerate MC berdasarkan acceptance Zone atau Area yang sudah disepakati.

    INSTRUMENT MECHANICAL COMPLETION


    System/sub-system MC harus didevelop dari commissioning point of view, bukan dari construction point of view. System / sub-system berisi boundary (limit) dari equipment, Perpipaan, instrument, valve, pompa, motor, dll yang diperlukan untuk menjalankan suatu fungsi operasi tertentu pada platform. Contoh system-system tersebut antara lain Power Generation System, Diesel Fuel System, Instrument Air System, Control System, Heating Medium System, etc. Equipment, piping dan tagged item untuk mechanical, electrical, instrument, telecomm, dan paga selanjutnya dilist untuk diassignkan MC-ITR yang tepat dan dikelompokkan ke dalam system/sub-system. Untuk mengolah puluhan ribu data dengan setiap tagged item bisa diassign satu atau lebih MC-ITR maka computerized database system harus digunakan untuk mengontrol mechanical completion. Contoh dari computerized MC database adalah PIMS yang bekerja under microsoft access sebagai salah satu bentuk Completion Management System (CMS).
