    Rosy Anchor SCENE ONE: HINDI FAIL Kusum: Kya hua baby, tu itni udaas kyu dikh rahi hai? Sneh (breaks down): Boo hoo hoo hoo... Kam aaye, kam aaye, mere number kam aaye. Kusum: Kitne aaye, tere number kitne aaye? Sneh (looks slowly at Kusum): ...... Failllll!!! Kusum (pareshaan; walks around): Arrey yaaaar, is ladki ne to khaandaan ki naak katva deni hai. Kya kiya jaaye... IDEA!!! Sneh: Kya diya? Kusum: Arrey IDEA! Pados mein na ek sundar susheel sulabh safal ladka rehta hai. IAS ki taiyaari kar ra hai. Badi pyaari Hindi bolta hai. Teri uske saath tuition lagva dete hain!! Sneh: Par didi, gents ke saath tuition..... SCENE TWO: PEHLI MULAKAAT (Sneh knocks on door. Door open with creaking sound. Abhin appears (with hanky in his hand). Both stare at each other, bending necks in opposite directions and flickering eyelids. SONGS PLAY: Pehla nasha Tujhe dekha to ye jaana sanam Tumse mili nazar to mere hosh udd gaye Abhin: Ji kahiye. Sneh: 'Ji'. Abhin: Ji? Sneh: Ji, aap ne kaha na, "Ji" kahiye. Abhin: Huh? Oh. Hehehehe. Kahiye na.

    Sneh: Ji mai pados se aayi hun. Meri behen ne aap se baat ki hogi na. Mujhe Hindi padhaane ke liye? Abhin: Ji haan, ji haan. To aap, kal se aa jaaiye? Sneh: Ji no problem. (Both continue to stare, in a trance. Then suddenly, realise it and walk away. ) SCENE THREE: KHIDKI-KHIDKI KA PYAAR (Both are ad-libbing to songs, Abhin studying and starts looking at Sneh from window.. Sneh mean while washing clothes ) Abhin : Mere saamne vaali khidki mein ek chand sa tukra reheat hai...!! Abhin starting at Sneh .. Sneh suddenly sees that and Abhin goes back. Sneh: Mere Khabo mai jo aaye (with a duppata) SCENE FOUR: SCOOTER PE FOOL (Sneh coming out of college. Abhin travelling on Hamaara Bajaj, with phool in mouth) Abhin: Aaja meri Bajaj mein baitth ja. Sneh: Ihihihihi. Hai iiiii Abhin: Ye pushp mere hasth se grahan keejiye aur apne kesho ko susajjit keejiye. Sneh: What??! Abhin: Off ho, tumhaari Hindi. Ye lo, ye pushp pakdo. (hands her the flower) Chalo, ab pushp ke paach paryaayvachi shabd bataao. Sneh: Oooohh? Surprise test?! Forget it (sits on scooter and both drive away) SCENE FIVE: SHRUTLEKH PROPOSAL Abhin: Chaliye, aaj hum SHRUTLEKH ka abhyaas karenge. (Abhin dictates, and Sneh repeats) MUJHE TUMSE GHANISHTTH

    PREM HO GAYA HAI Abhin: Likha? Sneh: Likha! Abhin: Toh padho! (Sneh reads it out aloud. Reaching the end of sentence, exclaims...) Sneh: OHH!!! Sacchi??! Abhin (nodding): Mucchi! (Both hold hands and start walking in circles; slightly dancing and walk away..on PYAAR HUA EKRAAR HUA HAI...) SCENE SIX: THE SAMOSA SHOW (Sneh, Kusum, Brij Mohan, Abhin sitting together at dinner table) Kusum: Abhinandan ji, samosa leejiye na. Abhin: Nahi, nahi. Mai samosa nahi khaata hun. Kusum: Arrey rey rey, leejiye na! Abhin: Nai, nai. Bilkul nai ho paayega. Sneh (intervening; sharmeeli soft tone): Le leejiye na. . . Abhin (sudden change of heart): Um.. Ahem.. Achha chalo de do. (Kusum smiles and looks away. Abhin and Sneh apne-apne khaane mein lag jaate hain Brij Mohan SHOCKED Brij Mohan gestures to Kusum and by hand and eye movement, says ki "in dono ke beech kuchh chal ra hai!! ") Abhin: Achha chaliye, mai chalta hun. Sneh (after Abhin has left): Mai chaay leke aata hun. Brij Mohan: Kushum, Kushum. Mujhe lagta hai, inka chal ra hai.

    Kusum: Achha??! Mai Baby se poochhti hun. (Sneh comes with chaay) Kusum: Baby, tukhee Abhinandan ji kaise lagta hain? Sneh (embarrassed; lajja se ): Hee hee hee, achhe lagtea hain. Kusum (happily): To tumhaari shaadi ki baat karvaayein ?! (Sneh nods. Both sisters hug) Sneh (warily): Parr Baauji... Brij Mohan: Uski chinta tu matt kar. Vo hum dekh lenge.
    SCENE SEVEN: BAAUJI SE SAAMNA ( SONG: Don Theme Baauji walks; back facing audience. Leather jacket; white hair; white shirt and dhoti with black chappal. Removes jacket slowly in a badass way. Then sits down to have food. Kusum approaches) Kusum (aahista se): Uh.. Baauji? (Baauji doesn't react. Kusum tries again. Still no reaction) Kusum: Baauji BAJAAR 500 POINT GIR GAYA!!!! (Baauji baukhla ke utth jaate hain) Baauji: Kyaa ho gayaa mere Sensex ko??! Kusum: Kuchh nai hua. Aap baat suno. Baauji: Haan, bol. Kusum: Vo hamaari Baby hai na.. Baauji: Haan Kusum: Usko na.., Baauji: Haan Kusum: Usko na... Baauji: Haan Kusum (ekdum se): Usko pados vaala ladka pasand aa gaya hai!! Unki shaadi kara dein?? (Baauji slowly starts deep breathing, with angry looks. SONG: 127 Hours Theme) Baauji: NAHII!!! Koi shaadi naay hoyegi!! (Faces Sneh) Aur tera uss se milna BAND. (Baauji walks away. Sneh and Kusum muh latka lete hain)

    SCENE EIGHT: LAMBI JUDAAI (Sneh is standing in a corner with pushp in hand, staring drwamily in a corner. NO MOVEMENT. Abhin is sitting on the floor in a corner like good-for-nothing piyakkad. Haath mein "daaru" ki botal (Frooti). Thodi der baad pi-pa ke utth ke chala jaata hai. Bekaar aadmi. Now Sneh comes into life. Starts removing petals of pushp, while walking around on stage. Looking sad. Thodi der baad vo bhi chali jaati hai. Bekaar aurat. ) SCENE NINE: FINAL SCENE (Baauji still sitting on chair reading paper. Brij Mohan enters. Walks toward Baauji. ) Brij Mohan: Baauji, aap se kuchh baat karni hai. Baauji (eyes still on paper): Brij Mohan ji, aap se kuchh baat nai karni hai. Mai jaanta hun aap kya kehne aaye ho. Mere jawaab abhi bhi wahi hai. Brij Mohan (thode gusse mein): To theek hai. Agar aisa hai, to mai kabhi aap ke ghar nahi aaunga. Bye, bye! (Brij Mohan starts walking away. ) Baauji (sudden change of heart): RUKO BRIJ MOHAN!! Bohot hua ye sab. BABY! KUSUM! Idhar aao! (Sneh and Kusum enter) (Baauji thodi der teeno ko gusse mein dekhte hain) Baauji: Kya tum logo ki yahi ichha hai?? (Teeno mundi hilaate hain) To theek hai. Mujhe ye shaadi manzoor hai. (Faces Brij Mohan) Waqeel saahab, aap jeet gaye! (Faces Sneh) JA BABY, JEE LE APNI ZINDAGI!!! (Anshu takes over)
