Circa 2003

Simultaneous operations were occurring during displacement including: flushing of trip tanks, staggering of rig pumps, emptying of sand traps, transferring mud between pits, diverting fluid overboard bypassing sensors, offloading mud to another vessel, and operating cranes or moving the rig which resulted in agitated fluid levels. There was also a lack of communication from the rig crew about activities underway.
