    Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

    [ am requesting funding for comprehensive services for individuals affected by substance


    abuse in fiscal year 2010. The entity to receive funding for this project is A Safe Haven
    LLC, located at 4846 W. North Avenue, Chicago, Illinois, 60639. The funding would be
    used to provide supportive housing and comprehensive services for individuals and
    families affected by drug and alcohol abuse, with the largest populations served being the
    formerly incarcerated, homeless persons, and veterans. [certify that neither I nor my
    spouse has any financial interest in this project.
