Iglu are providing urban design and landscape consultancy services to Land and Property Holdings development company for a small but sensitive site in the conservation village of Clachan of Campsie in East Dunbartonshire. Iglu have prepared a series of housing layouts to assist negotiations with the planning department for planning permission of a small-scale residential proposal for the site, following a previous unsuccessful application. The revised layout was accompanied by a series of improved graphics that better communicated the impact of the proposals, particularly in terms of landscape and urban design principles. The proposals are in the process of being resubmitted for planning permission.
