This song that Tupac wrote was actually inspired by a newspaper article that covered a story by a twelve year old girl that ended up pregnant from a cousin of hers and she threw the baby in the trash can. In the song he also covers topics about teen pregnancy and poverty and a little on government assistance.

This song became really popular due to it becoming the main theme song to the video game series for Kingdom Hearts for PlayStation

Texture is monophonic and the form is repeated multiple times towards the end by both vocalists. 2:37 the vocalists begin their verse and the second vocalists are saying their verse and interlude with imitation 3:52 coda ends with drums and long vocal pitch.
