    BIOGRAPHY

    September 21, of 1947 in Portland, Maine.

    King and his wife Tabitha live in Bangor, Maine. They have three children: Naomi, Joseph, and Owen.

    SOME NOVELS
    IT
    (1986) The story follows the adventures of seven children that are terrorized by a creature, which exploits the fears and phobias of its victims in order to disguise itself while hunting its prey. "It" primarily appears in the form of a clown in order to attract its preferred prey: young children.

    The Mist

    Is a 1980 horror novel, in which the small town of Bridgton, Maine is suddenly enveloped in an unnatural mist hiding otherworldly monsters.

    CARRIE
    Released on April 5, 1974. A shy high school girl who uses her newly discovered telekinetic powers to exact revenge on those who tease her in the process, causing one of the worst disasters in American history.

    1408
    Released in 1999. A paranormal expert is haunted by hotel ghosts in the room 1408 on the Hotel Dolphin.

    The Shining

    Is a 1977 horror novel; stars the Torrance family, Jack, Wendy, and five-year-old Danny. It details their tragic experience at an isolated and haunted hotel, the now famous Overlook.
