    Tactile Letter C

    Cover the C with white glue and then sprinkle cornmeal on it. Let the glue dry and attach to lapbook or notebook page for a tactile letter C.

    Directions
    If desired color this page. Cut out cover and pieces on this page. Cut apart the four pages on the next page. Help your student match the pictures to the corresponding pages. Using a blank sheet of colored paper, cut it in half horizontally. Then fold each piece in half vertically. Glue the back of one page (of one piece) to the front page of the other piece. Glue the cover on the front and glue one piece on to each page of the book. Paste the back page into the lapbook or notebook page.

    Counting with Cs Talk about animals that start with the letter C. Cut out animals, words, and numbers. For durability you can cover with clear contact paper (or print on cardstock). Put in order 1, 2, 3, and then match words to animals. Make library pocket and affix to lapbook or notebook page. Store pieces in the pocket.

    What Begins With C? Cut out the large rectangle on the next page and fold using hotdog instructions to make a small book. Print this page on sticker or label paper. Have child choose 6 favorite things that start with the letter C and corresponding words. Attach stickers in book and attach book to lapbook or notebook page.
