1.4 Strategies for teaching Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students We are becoming a more diverse country as the days go by. As an educator I need to accept and adapt to these backgrounds to build a professional relationship with the students, and to build a positive learning - I will seek guidance through my colleagues that have professional knowledge on diverse backgrounds. - Build a relationship with the families of each student - Research information on environment.

Standard Five 5.5 - Report on student achievement I need to have a range of strategies for reporting to students and parents/caregivers. By implementing these strategies it will build a strong learning relationship. I need to keep updated with any new legislation requirements, so that I am always complying to regulations. -Read through the school policies and procedure and ensure that I implement them in the learning environment. -Keep updated with any new legislative requirements by reading all updates through the Queensland government website and engaging in information provided through emails and meetings.
Support Networks: Throughout my professional experience, I will be continuing to learn every day. Through this I support networks will help guide me, and allow me to become a more experienced and knowledgeable educator. Below are support networks that will help me as a graduate educator. Teaching Teachers for the Future targeted systematic change in the ICT proficiency of graduate teachers and is building the capacity of teacher educators and a national support network of ICT expertise that is continuing beyond the project.
