YEAR 1 MUSIC
CELEBRATION CONCERT

Monday, May 19 - 8am to 9am
The Year 1 Concert will feature all of the
children in Year 1, and all parents are invited.

PLEASE NOTE
It has been confirmed that Al Isra Awal Miraj will now be observed
on Sunday 25 May 2014. Therefore JPS will be closed for the day on
Sunday, rather than the Monday as previously published.

We wish all of our Muslim families a wonderful day of celebration.

GOING HOME EARLY
We have noticed that the number of children leaving school before the end of the
school day has recently increased.
The school day is 7:30 to 14:15 Sunday to Wednesday, and 7:30 to 13:15 on
Thursday, and children should be present for the entire day. Only in very
exceptional circumstances can teachers give authorisation for children to leave
school early, e.g. an emergency appointment that cannot be made after the school
day. We ask please that, wherever possible, parents make appointments outside
school hours so as not to disrupt learning. Should there be a highly exceptional
circumstance where you need to take your child out of school early, please ensure
that you email your teacher and reception (info_jps@gemsedu.com) well in advance
to ensure that your teacher has time to see the email. Please note that children
will not be sent down to reception until a parent has arrived.
Thank you
