This document contains a student nurse's objectives and reflections from a short clinical rotation in a medical ward. The objectives are to apply knowledge and skills to help restore patients' health, provide holistic care for all patients, and become familiar with different medical conditions. Although the rotation was only two days due to exams, the student appreciated gaining experience with IV regulation, drug calculations, and vital sign monitoring. They also valued the support of their clinical instructor. It was difficult seeing patients suffering from various diseases and dying, but the student recognizes that while nursing is challenging, it is rewarding to help others.

LEARNING FEEDBACK DIARY
Of all the rotations we had this is shortest because our scheduled date was being occupied with our examinations and clinical forum so instead of six days we only had two day exposure. Even if our exposure is very short I still appreciated the time we are exposed there because my skills were being honed on proper regulation of IV fluids, drug computations and to monitor clients with their vital signs. I also appreciated our clinical instructor who persistenly assisted us on our actions. It is quiet hard being on the ward for we can see a lot of patients suffering from different diseases and the worst thing was that we saw a dying pt.fighting for life.It was so hard being on that situation because i pity very much those clients. Indeed being a nurse is not an easy job.But inspite the hardships and sacrifices its a happy feeling caring and helping other people in many ways and see them happy ang thankful because of service youve shared.
