Philosophy
Since each child is unique and individual, I believe it is crucial to constantly strive to improve instructional practices and
create an atmosphere that fosters a love of learning; educators must continue to pursue better ways in how we meet various
learning styles and the differentiated needs of our students. I have been able to apply this philosophy in all my teaching
situations from Early Years across the curriculum to Year 6. My IB Primary Years Program experience has been invaluable to
me, giving me the tools to open up the world to students, making them truly global citizens who will go confidently out into
the world to make it a better place. Ive learned to expand and extend their thinking and understanding through Concepts,
Skills, Attitudes and the Learner Profile. My goal is to continuously strive to raise attainment, thinking skills, and global
perspectives for each child so that they can achieve at the best of their abilities and be proud of themselves.
