Instructions: Use separate grid paper for each drawing. Create layout and title block for
each drawing.
Grading:
Hundred marks in total. The first eight drawings, each takes 10 scores. CATIA models
will not be graded (do not hand in).
The classic problem takes 20 marks
Homework:
As homework, please do practice on the following problems (students do not need to
hand these in):Problem 5.3, figure 5.120 numbers 10 to 16. Problem 5.4, figure 5.121
numbers 2, 3, 16, 17 22 and 23. Problem 5.5, figure 5.122 numbers 22, 29, 32, 47, 64, 72,
86 and 92.
Problem 5.3
(Figure 5.120) Given the front view and right view of a multiview drawing of an object,
sketch the given views and then add the missing view. As an additional exercise, create a
3D of the object using CATIA.

Problem 5.4
(Figure 5.121) Given three incomplete views of a multiview drawing of an object, sketch
the given view and then add the missing line or lines. As an additional exercise, create a
3D of the object using CATIA.

Problem 5.5
(Figure 5.122) Sketch multiviews of the objects shown in the pictorials.

Sketch of three views of the truss bearing.( Pay attention to tangency, and representation
of runouts, fillets, and rounds.)
