Ensure all power and control power supply is in
service at excitation panel. (MCB No.-80, 81,82,83,90 is in ON condition). Ensure all buduct doors are in closed condition. Ensure the cooling water system of generator -1 air cooler is working normally. 4 no of inlet and outlet valves are in open condition (Turbine 5 mtr). Ensure all carbon brush contacts are proper. Ensure generator protection panel-A & B power supply is in service. DC power supply in GT Protection panel in ON position Power I to operation box 4QF MCB and Power II operation box 5QF MCB Ensure excitation transformer cooling fan and temperature monitor power supply is in service. Ensure excitation transformer doors are in closed condition. Ensure excitation transformer protection relay(G.T. protection relay) is in service. Ensure PT cubicle M.B all MCBS are in service.

Check AVR of Generator excitation is running in
CHl -01, AVR ON lamp is ON and REMOTE lamp is OFF, Ensure all above points are satisfied, system is ready for operation. Check NGT Switch is in closed position.
