NX How To Selectively Show Hidden Geometry in Drafting
When creating a view in NX Drafting you may find it useful to selectively display the hidden
geometry, rather than simply having all the hidden lines visible or invisible.
This example shows the steps to achieve this;
2. Select the view boundary and choose the right-hand mouse button option View Dependent
Edit;
a. In Add Edits select Edit Entire Objects;
b. In the Wireframe Edits set Line Fonts to
Dashed. (Optional: Set the Line Color.)
c.
Select Apply;
e. OK, OK.
3. Select the view boundary and then choose the right-hand mouse button option Style
(Settings in NX9). On the Hidden Lines tab, enable the option Referenced Edges Only,
and select OK. Only the selected hidden lines are now visible.
