Counseling Experience
School Counseling Intern
Deliver individual and group counseling to students in academic, social-emotional, and career areas.
Co-facilitate a divorce group for 6th grade girls and boys, a body image group for 7th and 8th grade girls,
and a Connections group for 7th and 8th grade girls.
Teach a weekly anti-bullying and social skills lesson to 6th graders using the Second Step curriculum.
Taught a two lesson classroom guidance unit on High School and Beyond using elements of Career
Bridge and OSPI curricula.
Advocate for student needs and help remove barriers to success in middle school and beyond.

information requests, and communicating via email, post, and phone.
Organized, coordinated, and maintained high volume of travel arrangements; developed travel itineraries.
Processed faculty, staff, and student reimbursements (including travel reimbursements) and petty cash
requests.
Covered reception area as needed to greet and route visitors, accept packages, and distribute mail.
First point of contact; greeted incoming visitors, received and distributed mail, and answered the main office
phone line.
Maintained and ordered office supplies; file maintenance and other organizational tasks as assigned.
