Welcome to Kindergarten!

Dear Parents,

Welcome!

All About Me!

Welcome to Kindergarten! September is always

an exciting time as we look forward to new and
wonderful experiences in the classroom. We
hope that you and your child have adjusted
smoothly to all the new routines. We know that
we will have a great year of fun and learning. We
are delighted to be working with your child to
achieve their fullest potential in a Christcentered, encouraging environment. Being aware
of our routines and procedures will certainly help
in achieving this goal and will facilitate
communication between parents and teachers.
We feel honoured and privileged to play such an
important role in your childs kindergarten
experience.

During the month of September, we will be

exploring the theme of: I am Special! This is
the perfect way for students to get acquainted
with their peers and the new school environment.
This month, students will focus on making new
friends, and recognizing the important and
special qualities of everyone in our kindergarten
class. The SK students will become leaders in the
classroom to the new JK students.
Our classroom will be buzzing with excitement as
we explore this theme in reading, writing, math,
science and the arts! There will be many exciting
opportunities to learn about all of our
kindergarten friends.
We look forward to a fun-filled and exciting first
month in kindergarten!
