    Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was a prolific and talented composer who began composing and performing at a very young age. He was already composing at age 5 and performing before royalty in Europe. By age 12, he had written his first complete opera. Mozart was taught music from a young age by his father Leopold Mozart, who was a respected composer and violinist.     On the way back from the second European tour, the


    family passed through Rome on Easter. As with any
    tourist, they visited St. Peter's to hear the famous

    Miserere

    sung at the

    Mozart was 14 years old

    Sistine Chapel.

    Miserere is a 10 minute piece written for 9
