    various strategies, including the relationship between
    addition and subtraction, the use of technology, and the
    context of the problem to assess the reasonableness of

    1: Read the problem carefully.
    Continue throughout all steps.
    Go through the remaining slides.
    We are going to try a few
    together. Asking students to
    help with each part (step) of the
    problem.

    math journal. There, they will find
    questions in the same format.

    pages 36-37.
