ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION:
Cook an omelet

SUPPLIES/EQUIPMENT:
Prepared ingredients: beaten eggs, grated cheese,
chopped mushrooms, bell pepper, onions, cooked ham
and bacon
Butter spray

Stove

Pan
Turner
Bowl
Plate

STEPS OF ACTIVITY:

Collect supplies except for eggs and put on a plate.


Crumble bacon.

Cut on heat to just above medium.

Place pan on heat.

Spread ingredients from plate onto half the egg


surface, save some cheese to put on top the
finished product.
Using the turner, scoop under the half of the eggs
that has no toppings and fold it over the rest. Let
cook for 30-60 sec
Using the turner, flip the entire omelet over add
cheese on top and let cook for 1-2 min

Spray butter on pan and toss in onions, peppers


and mushrooms
Cook until mushrooms arent raw (around 2 min)
Pour back onto plate.
Pour in a ladle and a half of beaten eggs into the
pan and let cook until theres only a small amount
still liquid.

Pick up the pan and tilt to slide the omelet onto your
plate.
