    Good morning ladies and gentleman,

    It's gratifying to look around and see so many familiar faces. That's a pleasing welcome to
    what I know is a going to be a great conference .
    Iam Yulis indah Aristyani , Iam a veterinarian delegate from department of animal health
    ,East Java province.
    I want to give our welcome to all the delegate, experts and scholars coming today. Thank you
    for coming. That many of you travel long distances serves to remind us all just how important
    our work is.

    We are delighted to have you here to participate this Seminar of World Veterinary Day and
    the topic is The role and importance of veterinary laboratories
    Infectious diseases of animals play an important role in most sectors of veterinary medicine,
    particularly in the light of economic losses inflicted by such diseases. Direct losses result
    from death (usually of large numbers of animals) and from decreased production of food
    products, such as meat, milk and eggs. Indirect losses caused by infectious diseases include
    difficulties in the national and international movement of animals and animal products. Most
    infectious animal diseases are included in Lists A and B of the International Office of
    Epizooties (OIE). Many infectious diseases are also zoonoses, which increases the
    significance of the disease.
    This is The fundamental to treatment of animal diseases and establish a definitive diagnosis.
    That would focus on developing and utilizing state of the art equipment and techniques to
    analyze samples such as tissue or blood. This seminar will explain how important Veterinary
    diagnostic is? , the newest technique for diagnostic laboratory, and we will upgrade many
    knowledge here..
    Absolutely ,This seminar was held for celebrate the world veterinary day.

    We are honored to have a speaker like Mr. Emilda Supriyanto, he is a spesialist of diagnostic
    laboratory in a reputable poultry company, I would like to turn the floor over with him.
    I wish the seminar be successful and reach its goals as mentioned and I wish all of the guests
    enjoy Javanese food and hospitality during these three days. Thank you very much indeed.
