Showcase
project
The mini goal for the 3rd
artifact is next Monday,
January 25.
Our new topic is California Native Americans.
Some artifact ideas are: tule hut, plank house,
bark house, tule canoe, plank canoe, dugout
boat, deer, deer mask, model steps of making
acorn mush, actually grinding acorns into flour,
coiled or twined basket, bow and arrow. You can
also check out the pictures on the website or the
pictures on the class iPads.
Artifacts should be able to fit in your box, with
the lid snapped shut. If you send me a picture,
please put it on the artifact box lid so I can see
that it is a miniature size.
Remember that you will be graded on effort.
When I look at your artifact, it should look like
you spent about two hours working on it.
You will be given time in class on Thursday
morning to write your artifact sentence. Make
sure you have chosen a partner AND your
artifact by Thursday so you can write your
sentence together.
Remember, you will each be responsible to
make your own artifact, but you can do it
together if you choose. Working with a partner
on your artifact is optional.
