    SMOKING POLICY

    1.

    When vessel is in hazardous areas or when smoking outside the accommodation is


    prohibited, smoking is permitted only in designated areas. (Bridge and Recreation Room)

    2.

    Smoking outside the accommodation is prohibited when the vessel is in vicinity of


    platforms. Oil/gas wells, pipelines, flammable gas, fuel storage areas, 500 meter zone and
    any other hazardous area.

    3.

    All smokers are to give consideration to non-smokers and prevent passive smoking. When
    vessel is not prohibited, smoking is permitted outside the accommodation on main deck
    and bridge wings.

    4.

    Smoking in cabins, food preparation and dining areas, store rooms, engine room, bow
    thruster room and any other non-designated space is prohibited.

    5.

    Disposal of cigarette ash and cigarette butts in waste baskets /bins is prohibited.
    Appropriate glass /metal container /trays designated for disposal are to be used.
