Prior Knowledge (What knowledge are you building in?)


Build on language introduced in previous lessons and provide more
kinesthetic tasks activities. They already now verbs.
Lesson Objectives: (What will students be able to do by the end of the
lesson?)
(These must be SMART objectives specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, timely)

At the end of the lesson students will be able to:


1. Define and identify imperatives (Positive and Negative).
2. Identify the use of positive instructions. For example:
Speak English in class.
take your books out of your bag.
3. Identify the use of negative instructions. For example:

Don't run in the classroom.


Don't talk when the teacher is talking.

do for evaluation?)

1. First I will make a review to remind the students of the prior


knowledge.
Ask them about their superhero and how they look like and
what they do.(group and whole class discussion).
2. Show the students a different verbs in the power point like (speak,
play, take, ask) and the word don't.
show them a picture to make clear understanding of its
meaning(whole class activates).
Give students example of imperative sentence to make clear
understanding for them from the pictures they will have. like:

Speak English in the class or Don't writ on the table.


3. Show the student a PowerPoint with some pictures to teach the
student when they have use imperatives with positive or negative
instructions.
4. Activity one: (Library Rules) give each group pictures of positive
and negative instruction which students make in the library, and
students have to discuss and give make a poster of the library rules
using imperative(positive or negative) instructions.
5. Activity 2: student will listen to teacher instruction and they will
open there activity book on page 21 to answer exercise 3 ( group
and whole class activity).
6. Activity 3: Teacher will ask student to set in their group which
depend on their level: red, yellow and green group.
7. student will listen to teacher instruction and they will open there
activity book on page 20 to answer exercise 2 ( group and whole
class activity).
